Unlike all the other candidates running for President of the United States, Donald Trump doesn’t have to raise a penny because he is using his own money and he happens to have a few billion dollars. Running for President of the USA requires a lot of travelling and usually part of a campaign budget is used to lease a private jet for the length of the run. In Trump’s case he owns two jets and two helicopters both in New York and Scotland.
The largest is a Boeing 1991 757-200 in a commercial configuration it could carry as many as 228 passengers if it were filled with economy seats. Trump's 757 carries 43 passengers secured with 24 caret gold plated seat belts. It features a dining room, big screen TVs, a master and a guest bedroom and even a shower. The Donald bought the 757 in 2010 from Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. The B757s has a top speed of 609 miles an hour can fly up to 4,400 miles without stopping, according to Boeing. It is nearly 125 feet wide and more than 155 feet long and weighs in at 255,000 pounds.
Trump also owns a 1997 Cessna Citation X corporate jet designed to seat 12. The plane's FAA registration number, N725DT, does include his initials and the address of New York's Trump Tower (725 5th Ave).
Trump also owns two Sikorsky S-76B helicopters built in 1989 and 1992.
If Trump does become President we could see some positive politics being played in favor of the private jet world…
