Le Falcon 8X certifié par l'EASA

 Dassault Aviation se félicite de la certification du Falcon 8X par l’EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency - l’administration européenne de l’aviation civile).

Cette certification intervient conformément au calendrier du programme. La certification américaine sera délivrée prochainement par la Federal Aviation Administration. Les premières livraisons du Falcon 8X pourront ainsi avoir lieu au début du quatrième trimestre, comme annoncé lors du lancement de l’appareil en mai 2014.

“Non seulement nous avons développé un Falcon qui répond parfaitement aux besoins de nos clients en termes d’autonomie, de confort et de souplesse d’emploi, mais en plus nous l’avons fait en un temps record et avec un processus de fiabilisation et de maturation sans équivalent », souligne Eric Trappier, Président-Directeur général de Dassault Aviation.

Le 26e Falcon 8X est actuellement en assemblage final dans l’usine de Mérignac. Douze appareils sont en cours d’aménagement cabine dans l’usine de Little Rock (Arkansas, Etats-Unis).

Dérivé du Falcon 7X, le Falcon 8X a fait son premier vol le 6 février 2015. Il offre la plus grande autonomie (11 945 km) et la plus longue cabine de toute la gamme Falcon, permettant à ses passagers de voler très confortablement et sans escale de Pékin à New York, de Hong Kong à Londres ou de Los Angeles à Moscou. Il affiche les mêmes remarquables performances que le Falcon 7X en termes d’économie de fonctionnement et de capacités terrains courts. Outre la cabine la plus silencieuse et les commandes de vol numériques les plus avancées de l’aviation d’affaires, le Falcon 8X proposera la plus vaste gamme de possibilités d’aménagements intérieurs.
