Les Gardes-côtes du Japon sélectionnent le Falcon 2000 MSA

Les Gardes-côtes du Japon ont sélectionné le Falcon 2000 MSA (Maritime Surveillance Aircraft) proposé par Dassault Aviation pour renforcer leurs moyens aériens de surveillance maritime.

Le Falcon 2000 MSA, conçu sur la base du Falcon 2000 LXS (autonomie 4 000 nautiques), peut accomplir un large spectre de missions incluant la surveillance maritime, la lutte contre la piraterie et le narcotrafic, le contrôle des pêches, la police, la recherche et sauvetage, le renseignement et la reconnaissance. Sur ce marché, cet avion offre le meilleur compromis entre taille, charge utile, vitesse, autonomie et coûts d’acquisition et d’exploitation.

« Cette commande vient couronner une compétition internationale remportée par Dassault Aviation. Elle représente une nouvelle étape dans la longue relation qui lie notre société et les Gardes-côtes du Japon», a déclaré Eric Trappier, Président-Directeur général de Dassault Aviation. « Le Japon exploite avec succès des Falcon pour les missions de surveillance maritime et de recherche et sauvetage autour de l’archipel japonais depuis 1989. Nous sommes donc très honorés du fait que les Gardes-côtes renouvellent aujourd’hui leur confiance en nos avions ».

En acquérant de nouveaux jets de surveillance maritime à la fois modernes et efficients, les Garde-côtes du Japon seront dotés d’une plate-forme ultra performante et économique, réalisée en collaboration avec nos partenaires L-3 Platform Integration et THALES.

Dassault Aviation fournira également des moyens complets d’aide à la maintenance, qui permettront aux Gardes-côtes d’assurer un niveau optimum de disponibilité de leur flotte. Grâce à ces capacités, les avions seront en mesure de répondre à leurs besoins opérationnels exigeants.
