Patrick Baudis joined Bombardier Commercial Aircraft as Vice President, Marketing in January 2016.


A seasoned professional with wide-ranging industry experience, Mr. Baudis brings solid executive experience to his new role that will see him lead the marketing strategy for Bombardier’s C Series aircraft, CRJ Series regional jets and Q400 turboprops.


Mr. Baudis previously worked for Airbus, where he most recently held the position of Vice President, Marketing-Americas, and earlier, the position of Vice President, Marketing-Latin America and Caribbean. He was instrumental in providing marketing direction, influencing product development and maximizing sales success.


With over 20 years of strategic marketing expertise, Mr. Baudis’ successful career began at Mitra Aviation, a company he joined right after completing a Master’s Degree in Engineering Aeronautics and Aviation at l’École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile-ENAC, in Toulouse, France.


Mr. Baudis speaks English, French and Spanish, and held positions of increasing authority, including Customer Marketing Director, Head of Fleet Development Strategy, Head of Airline Marketing, and Vice President of Marketing while at Airbus.


Among his most recent accomplishments are: the successful launch of the A330neo with Delta Air Lines and Hawaiian Airlines; a record order of over 300 aircraft placements in three years, securing market share and campaign successes in Mexico and Brazil, as well as the effective reorganization of marketing teams in the Americas.
