Defense and technology company EDGE Group has introduced what it says is the first family of multirotor loitering munitions developed in the United Arab Emirates. The QX family of comprises four products: QX1, a micro-UAV, QX2, a mini-UAV, QX3, a small UAV, and QX4, which features a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) fixed wing.

The transformation of this type of drone into an offensive weapon has proven its full potential since 2022 during the Ukrainian war.
