The Retrolley is a new cabin service trolley that enables the recycling of cabin waste more quickly and using less space improving airline turn-around operations. The concept was developed during the Fly Your Ideas 2015 competition by five Brazilian students from the University of São Paulo who won the second prize of the competition. Given the quality and maturity of the concept, the idea was developed further by the Airbus Innovation team in partnership with the students with the objective to deliver a working concept to airlines in a short term.
