Gabon chooses the Aravis

Nexter announces the signature of a contract with Gabon for the supply of 4×4 vehicles Aravis highly protected. Gabon is the third customer of this French “MRAP”, after the French and Saudi Arabia armies.

The Aravis will be equipped with remotely operated turrets of 20mm ARX20 from Nexter, protection system anti–RPG PG-Guard, and Nerva LG mini- recognition robots, also from Nexter. The industrial states that these 12 Aravis will equip a battalion that will be deployed soon in the Central African Republic under the flag of the United Nations within MINUSCA.
