The best Farnborough Air Show in the history of Airbus

Airbus had received 496 orders, a historic record that puts 2014 edition of Farnborough as the best show (except Paris Airshow) in the history of the European aircraft manufacturer whether it is in value or number of airplanes. Thus, Airbus has earned 75.3 billion worth of orders (38.4 billion of firm order and 36.9 billion under the form of draft agreement). Fabrice Bregier, Airbus President highlighted the successful launch of the A330neo, "We earned 121 commitments for the A330neo in four days." "This is a record in the history of air shows," noted the Airbus commercial director John Leahy.
