Corporate Innovator


Born in 1963 in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, Gregor received his aeronautical degree from the RWTH Aachen. He joined the Airbus Future Project Office in Hamburg in 1991 as a tools developer in several R&T programs on conceptual aircraft design, technology integration mechanism, multidisciplinary optimization etc.


From 2001 onward, he was Airbus representative in several working teams of the ACARE Strategic Research Agenda for the 2020 time frame and participated in scenario work on future technologies orientation.


Having joined Airbus Headquarters in Toulouse, France in 2001, Gregor was Chief Technologist Flight Performance in the Airbus R&T organisation from 2002 to 2004. From 2005 onwards, he worked as the Head of Policy&Development and Deputy Head of the Flight Physics Centre of Airbus.


From 2009 onwards Gregor developed the Airbus Innovation Cell concept and hold the position of the Chief Innovator 


Since the foundation of the Airbus Corporate Innovation Function in 2013, he is in charge of integrity and progress tracking of Airbus Innovation Portfolio.


Gregor is 53 years old, married and has one son.
