The new 6×6 Griffon Véhicule Blindé Multi-Role (VBMR) presented at Eurosatory 2018. The VBMR is known as a “Troop Transport Vehicle” by the French Army and is the long-term replacement for some, but not all, of the 4×4 Véhicule de l’Avant Blindé (VAB) armoured personnel carriers (APCs) and variants, which have been in service for 35 years and are now in urgent need of replacement.
