Boeing kicked off the first day of this Airshow with a massive order for 90 of its 777-X wide-body jets from Dubai’s flagship carrier Emirates Airline at list prices of $52 Bn. Already the world’s biggest operator of wide-body passenger aircraft, Emirates has committed to additional Boeing 777-9s, 777-8s, and 787s, to power its growth plans and maintain a modern efficient fleet.
