Armoured buggy

This is one of the most surprising vehicles at Eurosatory: Israel Military Industries (IMI) unveiled on its booth during the Eurosatory, the 4 × 4 "Combatguard" reconnaissance vehicle, an hybrid between MRAP and the Californian type buggy ... The Combatguard, which was developed very quickly by IMI on its own funds, includes an armored central capsule.

The Iron First system also provided by IMI ensures the protection against rocket. Six to eight people can sit in the armoured vehicle with a machine gun on the roof. The access is eased thanks to a large side door that opens with two doors, up and down. The Combatguard is relatively light for a vehicle of this type (8 tons) and a powerful diesel engine developing 300 hp 6.5 l. Its very large wheels especially offer amazing off-road capabilities.
