Among the Emirati companies, contracts were agreed at IDEX 2021 between the UAE Armed Forces and Calidus Aerospace, purchasing the Calidus B-250 aircraft, at a value of Dhs1.69 Bn. the Calidus B-250 is a light attack / trainer aircraft developed by the UAE firm Calidus in collaboration with the Brazilian firm Novaer, for the airframe, and with Rockwell Collins, for the navigation suite, and Pratt & Whitney Canada for the power-plant.
